A gas attendant is responsible for providing outstanding customer service as per Lil’ Pantry standards. The ideal candidate should be able quickly assist customers as needed while prioritizing accuracy and safety.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that each customer receives exceptional service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer.
- Performs tasks accurately and efficiently
- Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements
- Manage all cash transactions
- Communicate customer requests to management
- Maintain orderly appearance of store and supplies stocked
- Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on-time and appropriately uniformed
- Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by management
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to communicate professionally and politely with associates and customers
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation
- Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle merchandise throughout the station, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
