What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Maintenance Worker position at LP Management?
*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in repairs and property maintenance. Must be able to paint, repair drywall / compound, have strong carpentry skills (fix doors, kitchen cabinets, trim). Ability to fix electrical and plumbing issues is a big plus.
*Duties*
- Repair work orders from exisiting tenants in their apartments.
- Prepare apartments for new tenant move-ins.
- Supervise the work of junior maintenance staff (if applying for a more senior role), providing guidance and support as needed.
- Must be able to work fast to meet deadlines and schedules
* Skills*
- Must be able to fix all or most things that typically break in houses / apartments.
- Must have basic carpently skills, as well as some plumbing and electric.
- Must have own vehicle and tools
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all involved.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving methodologies.
