LPA is seeking a passionate
Interior Designer
to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. Our workplace studio is committed to creating engaging environments that foster communication and collaboration. We have completed projects such as Edwards Lifescience Campus Expansion, Southland Industries and Technology Company HQ Wellness Center. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our in-house multidisciplinary teams including engineering, landscape and interiors. We work primarily on workplace projects Southern California.

What you will do : You will be living and breathing the project from inception to completion and be able to turn your hand to all aspects of the projectYou will assist Project Managers, Project Designers, and Design Coordinators in the execution of specific assignmentsPrepare documentation and oversee documentation for design development and construction documentsReview and process construction administration documentsOrganize research for product and construction methods related to projectsWork on research for product and construction methods related to projectsAttend construction meetings and field visits to further understand detailing and coordinationMentor-ship from project leaders and managing directors, provide mentorship to junior designersWhat we will do :

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or Interior Architecture3 years of experience in all phases of interior architecture projectsActively pursuing CID (or already certified) and LEED accreditationProficiency in Revit. Good knowledge of Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.Knowledge of building codes, related regulations construction materials and specifications preferredDemonstrate independence, innovation, and vision with program, project design, and implementationCommitment to pursue high quality construction documents

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 and is eligible for an annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and / or project complexity. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
