What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Pizza Maker position at LPC Kitchen?
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Pizza Lead to join our kitchen team! This is a key role responsible for leading our pizza station and ensuring every pie meets our high standards of quality, flavor, and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the pizza-making process from dough to finish
- Stretch, top, and cook pizzas to order using a traditional pizza oven
- Maintain consistency and quality with every pizza made
- Oversee prep for pizza ingredients, dough, sauces, and toppings
- Train and support kitchen staff on pizza station procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Help develop and test seasonal or special pizza creations
- Work closely with kitchen leadership to manage station efficiency and inventory
Requirements:
- 2 years of professional experience making pizzas in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of dough handling, fermentation, and baking techniques
- Familiarity with wood-fired, deck, or gas pizza ovens
- Ability to lead a station and work efficiently under pressure
- Positive attitude, team player, and great communication skills
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
