What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate position at LPC Personnel, Inc?
We are looking for a Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and be able to safely and efficiently move materials around the warehouse. The Warehouse Forklift Operator should also be able to move and think quickly, being able to fulfill orders in a timely manner.
Responsibilities :
- Read customers order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be gathered
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, bins
- Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders in pallets or shelves
- Marks materials with identifying information
- Load trailers with packages for distribution
- Unload trails with inventory to stock warehouse
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work full time
- Frequently lift, push, and slide packages, weighing up to 50 lbs
- Forklift certification a plus
