Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including logic controllers and other related equipment.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Supervise maintenance staff as needed, providing guidance and support in their tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption to operations.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of logic controllers and electrical systems.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred, showcasing leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with team members and customers.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documents effectively.
