Maintenance Technician
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
LPG is a residential property management, maintenance, and remodeling company based in Toledo, Ohio. We're looking for an experienced maintenance technician to join our team.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The maintenance technician will perform basic repairs, preventative care, and property maintenance on single-family and multi-family homes. Also working with any additional laborers or subcontractors to complete maintenance requests, coordinate maintenance, and organize anything else needed to ensure LPG homes are in the best possible condition.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES

Perform regular checks on exterior parts of buildings and general areas, carrying out repairs and offering janitorial help as required
- Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities
- Support scheduled yearly unit inspections
- Complete work orders and tasks on a timely basis
- Carry out all on-call emergencies as necessary
- Give responses to resident service inquiries and interests promptly that have been submitted via the online portal
- Diagnose and repair problems in such areas as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, carpentry, flooring, hardware accessories, painting, and drywall
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Work directly with residents and team members to diagnose, assess and repair issues

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The team member is frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member is occasionally required to sit. The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s license with no major accidents or violations within 5 years
- Live in Toledo or surrounding area.
- Must possess good attitude and willingness to learn. Customer service skills and respectful communication with others. Able to perform duties with minimal supervision
- Perform maintenance duties depending on a given day that includes flooring, drywall, electrical, heating & cooling, carpentry.
- Utilize RentManager task system to track repairs including detailed notes of repair and before/after photos.
- Serve in a team environment participate in company off-hours schedule for emergency repairs.
- Position properties so they are attractive and have curb appeal

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
