JOB SUMMARY
The Coordinator, Epson Tour Tournament Operations is a full-time, seasonal position that requires extensive travel and is primarily responsible for the setup, breakdown, and daily operations at the Epson Tour tournament sites. This position is also responsible for maintaining the Epson Tour operational assets and working closely with tournament volunteers, organizers, Tour players, and operations staff.
The Coordinator, Epson Tour Tournament Operations is a full-time, seasonal position that requires extensive travel and is primarily responsible for the setup, breakdown, and daily operations at the Epson Tour tournament sites. This position is also responsible for maintaining the Epson Tour operational assets and working closely with tournament volunteers, organizers, Tour players, and operations staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with the operations team in setting up (including determining layout), tearing down, loading, and maintaining Epson Tour signage and all Tour equipment on-site.
- Work directly with SVP Tour Operations, VP Tournament Operations and Q-Series, VP Epson Tour TBA and LPGA.
- Serve as primary contact for volunteers including conducting training on tournament sites, assisting organizers with appropriate scheduling and insuring volunteers are in position.
- Assist and lead tear down and packing of trucks including overseeing volunteers who assist in tear down to make sure equipment is handled properly and verifying that all equipment has been returned to the trucks and is packed properly for transport.
- Work directly with the Epson Tour Director of Operations and Member Services to maintain inventory and ensure proper branding of tournament equipment and supplies.
- Coordinate with onsite Epson Tour Physical Therapists to ensure their equipment is unloaded prior to their arrival, they have access to their equipment when they arrive and loaded back onto the Epson truck after the tournament concludes.
- Assist with on-site supervision of tournament operations interns.
- Act as IT on various projects,
- Participate in special projects and assignments as requested by other departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of prior support in golf tournaments or golf events.
- Superior attention to detail, organizational and customer service skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Resourceful and independent thinker.
- Culturally sensitive, customer service-minded, and people-oriented.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Willing to travel 22-25 weeks a year.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule and travel for a minimum of seven or more consecutive days.
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
