The Inkjet Operator is responsible for the proficient operation and maintenance of the inkjet equipment to produce a quality printed product for shipment.
Essential Duties
- Set up and operate the inkjet equipment as trained under the discretion of management per LPi’s safe operation guidelines and processes to provide LPi’s customers with high quality printed publications
- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance including; Cleaning the inkjet equipment and notifying the team leader or maintenance team member of issues and/or concerns that need to be address in accordance to LPi’s safety and operational functions
- Responsible for maintaining inventory of consumables (i.e. inkjet cartridges)
- Cross train in inkjet production lines to efficiently operate and maintain bindery equipment and rotate on a weekly basis
- Demonstrate the ability to work closely with the press team leader to ensure quality and deadline expectations are met
- Maintain press logs for history of equipment, parts and repairs
- Actively participate in available Continuous Improvement (CI) training to enhance knowledge and use of CI tools. Participate in CI initiatives by submitting Opportunities, Problems and Ideas (OPIs) and by working on solution implementation. Collaborate cross functionally and cross-center to further generate ideas and knowledge sharing.
- Strong computer skills

- Ability to function in a team setting

- Ability to work independently with some direction
- Compensation: $20-$25 an hour based on experience
- All Employee Bonus up to $2000
