Simply put, we take care of our advisors, so they can take care of their clients.About the Role : LPL Financial is seeking a Senior Business and Data Analyst to join our Business Design & Solutioning group. In this collaborative role, you will work closely with teams supporting our various institutional business models to analyze and report on performance, as well as with teams addressing evolving business challenges, delivering insights that inform strategic decisions. Additionally, you will coordinate data services and solutioning efforts, with a particular focus on supporting post-conversion activities for new acquisitions and our largest institutions and credit unions. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions and drive impactful changes within our organization.Key Responsibilities : Analyze and report on the performance of LPL’s business models and supporting teams.Deliver insights that inform business model-specific strategies.In addition to creating and maintaining data solutions, coordinate solutioning activities for the broader team.Understand stakeholder needs related to data solutions, providing any from coordination support to strategic insights.Support continuous improvements to our products, enhancing the experience for converting firms.Utilize customer feedback, business strategy, data / analytics, and input from user experience and technology teams to develop seamless customer experiences.Provide reporting and analytics to support strategies, working directly with data sources and teams across technology, sales, and business development to surface insights.Develop and maintain reporting on business model-specific performance.Automate and improve internal processes for tracking and reporting on financial metrics, product usage, asset distribution, and technology adoption.Collaborate with product and technology teams to drive reporting automation initiatives.Lead reporting efforts across the entire business segment.Publish and communicate results, ensuring timely, accurate reports are delivered to senior leaders with actionable insights.Understand the interrelation of sales information based on the underlying data model.Support the broader solutioning team as it relates to data-specific initiatives through coordination and consulting.What We Are Looking For : We seek strong collaborators who can deliver a world-class client experience. Ideal candidates thrive in a flexible environment as each new business problem requiring an enterprise solution, are client-focused, team-oriented, and excel in fostering creativity and continuous improvement.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Management, Economics, or a related field.3 years of experience in a data analytics function.Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) for insight synthesis and presentation.Strong skills in big data technologies (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, Spark, Python).Highly analytical with strong communication skills and a proven track record of delivering actionable insights.Core Competencies : Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Understanding of stakeholder needs related to data solutions, providing any from coordination support to strategic insights.Preferences : Experience within broker / dealer or broader financial services space.Familiarity with Salesforce.Pay Range : $83,300.00 - $138,900.00 Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
