LPL Financial is seeking a strong applicant to join the Business Strategy & Innovation team. As an Operations Analyst, you will contribute to emerging solutions (HR Fundamentals and Payroll Solutions) by providing exceptional operational support. You will be responsible for ensuring that key data regarding emerging solutions clients is accurately captured and updated, documenting operational process changes, and ensuring that all new clients successfully complete the initial steps of onboarding.
The Business Innovation Lab team identifies and develops new services and solutions within LPL Financial to help advisors and institutions execute on their biggest opportunities. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. Responsibilities:
- Maintain contract records for clients in Salesforce and internal LPL systems (e.g. SMS and TaskIt)
- For non-automated contracts, own contract execution from opportunity to active status, including data entry and follow-up with advisors
- Review regular billing reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Ensure operations procedures documentation is accurate and up to date, making revisions as directed
- Be the first point of contact on the team for all new clients, contact new clients, verify scheduling with delivery teams, and ensure any required documentation is completed
- Submit documents for marketing regulatory review (MRR) as needed
- Collaborate with delivery teams to provide operational support as needed
- Role is advisor facing & includes maintaining a professional partnership with LPL Advisors & Institutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- 3-5 years of operations experience, including customer facing roles
- Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel (vlookup, countifs, pivot tables)
- Knowledge of and familiarity using Salesforce, Word, Powerpoint
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues related to data
- Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Strong time-management skills and solution oriented
- Demonstrated professional demeanor
- Experience working in financial services preferred
- Experience with Tableau and Alteryx
