Position Summary:
The AVP of Business Management will support the VP, Chief of Staff, and the MD, Head of Wealth Management, in driving strategic initiatives, project managing key projects, and ensuring the efficient operation of the Wealth Management organization. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, and a background in financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support: Assist the VP, Chief of Staff, in developing and executing strategic plans and initiatives.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage key projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between the VP, Chief of Staff, and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making processes.
- Meeting Coordination: Organize and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the Wealth Management division’s objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, or relevant advanced degree/designation.
- Experience in wealth management or a related field.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
