Job Overview :
The LPL Productions team is responsible for the production, support, engineering, and strategy for the Audio Video Infrastructure, Live Productions and Digital Services delivery in support of our internal employees, Advisors and Investors. The Audio Video Tech space has evolved dramatically over the last 5 years, and the LPL Financial Productions team has been at the forefront of that evolution.
The AV Tech II role works directly with the Infrastructure arm of the LPL Productions team to assist in delivering world class virtual and in room conferencing experiences or managing to completion technical issues or support concerns with our 4,000 LPL Financial Home Office users.
Responsibilities :
Provide an exceptional customer experience for internal employees and their Advisors and Investors
Act as an IT liaison to others as needed to resolve issues or fulfill requests, and fully owning issues end to end
Identify simplification and automation opportunities to provide quality of life improvements throughout our service delivery ecosystem
Provide proactive and professional service, always
Partner with team to deliver on our strategic plan to ensure that our staff technology is always available and functioning properly.
Coordinate and deliver a weekly summary technology health report.
Must have a strong understanding of the technology and what technology challenges staff members encounter in their day to day activities.
Support of Cisco Collaboration Solutions, Webex, Microsoft Teams and Zoom (Meetings & Webinars), MacOS, Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI, Room and Webex Board Pro G2 and Room series, Evertz, OneBeyond and Crestron Controllers and transmitters
Must be able to think on your feet and provide honest assessments to in room staff
Focus on Cisco based Video Conferencing tools
Works with C-level employees, Executive Assistants and Technology Support Teams to identify opportunities for innovation and support
Maintain inventory of live replacement devices to provide for immediate swap capability.
Responds quickly to technology outages affecting live productions and recordings to restore service as quickly as possible – must be cool under pressure!
Provides feedback based on input and usage; develops ideas for new and improved solutions based on needs
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required. Must be able to work without direct guidance, as well as in a team environment, resolving issues without being explicitly directed to do so

Requirements :
Associate’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
Four years’ experience in providing exceptional customer & technical support services in an audio / video environment to large live audiences (1000 )
Expert experience with Cisco video conferencing platforms
Expert level experience with supporting end user hardware, software, and technologies. Advanced experience with Apple and Windows-based devices (including MacOS / iPhone / iPad / iOS) and hardware and with the Microsoft Office Suite (2010 and 2016)
Must be organized and communicative
Core Competencies :
Experience with Webex Control Hub, Smartsheet, Jira and Service Now a strong plus
Demonstrated Excellent Customer Service experience
Ability to provide a professional delivery of service to executive level employees
Pay Range :
30.43-$50.72 / hourActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
