What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Associate/Executive Assistant position at LPL Financial?
As a Client Service Associate, you will directly support the daily business operations of a growing Private Wealth Advisory practice based in San Diego through calendar management, direct client service, meeting management, and collaborative projects. All assigned projects will help drive practice growth and foster a vibrant, immersive client experience for high-net-worth families, individuals, and organizations.
With an enthusiastic yet methodical approach to client service, business processing, and office management you seamlessly and strategically engage with both the client-facing sector of the business and the business processing components of private wealth management and financial planning.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Pre-appointment preparation for all Financial Advisors
- Post-appointment follow-up/processing for all Financial Advisors
- Manage the office, greeting clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Track client onboarding process and new client experience, incorporating both in-person and digital components
- Create applications and process new business
- Maintain compliant records, office reporting requirements, and business correspondence
- Proactive client service updates
- Completing client trade requests for all Financial Advisors
- Schedule appointments for Financial Advisors
- Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- Client Fly-bys requiring prep and follow-up
- Aiding in marketing campaigns, such as seminars and client appreciation events
- Working daily in Microsoft Office (Particularly MS Excel & MS Outlook)
- Working daily in Adobe Acrobat
- Follow-up calls to clients to obtain additional information
Requirements
- Ideal, but not required: Have or be able to obtain federal and state licenses and registrations for securities, including Series 7, Series 66, and State Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses within 2 years of hiring.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Particularly MS Excel & MS Outlook)
- Technology skills preferred
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and maintain positive relationships with financial professionals, staff, and clients
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Commitment to providing high-quality customer service and adhering to regulatory requirements and compliance standards
- Attention to detail and being able to think on your feet
