Job Overview :
We are looking for an inspired Principal Software Engineer with a background in development of cloud-native web applications leveraging technologies including .net core, C#, Angular, nodejs, and varying third-party and cloud native databases. The candidate will be guiding a high velocity, multi-functional development teams focused on green-field technology platforms in the Practice configuration and compensation spaces.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and participate in activities which drive the design and development of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems
- Develop positive relationships with business partners to understand their needs, manage expectations, deliver value-add solutions and support translation of problem statements into system requirements.
- Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and show success through KPIs.
- Full application life-cycle coordination and management of deliverables in alignment with best practices and organizational compliance goals
- Collaborate with other shared services teams (technical and non-technical) to ensure solutions and platforms are both functional and sustainable.
- Use customer and business feedback to inform roadmaps and non-functional goals.

Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field
12 years of professional software development experience in object-oriented programming language preferable dotNET, Angular and JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Cloud Containers and Serverless Components, CSS, Semantic HTML
6 years in a technical team leadership capacity
3 years of experience building cloud-native solutions on AWS
3 years of financial services / brokerage firm experience required
Core Competencies :
Strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferences :
Broad background in cloud native technologies, specifically : .NET,Angular and JavaScript,PostgreSQL, Cloud Containers and Serverless Components, CSS, Semantic HTML
Experience building Responsive and Reactive user interfaces.
Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience with DevOps processes

Pay Range :
170,800.00 - $284,600.00Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
