Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paraplanner to join our dynamic financial services team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional service to clients and assist Financial Advisors by preparing financial plans, conducting research, and collaborating to manage client portfolios. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients receive tailored financial advice and support in achieving their financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide a referrable client experience every time when working with clients.
- Collaborate with Financial Advisor to gather client information for onboarding, prepare forms for new accounts and ongoing service.
- Prepare "meeting prep" for Financial Advisor for client meetings, complete ad-hoc client requests and meeting follow-up tasks as needed.
- Facilitate and participate in the mindset of continuous improvement and growth
- Assist with research on investment options, tax implications, and estate planning strategies.
- Assist in monitoring portfolio suitability and product performance and maturities using proprietary reporting system to notify Financial Advisor when adjustments are needed.
- Support the preparation of presentations for client meetings, ensuring all materials are accurate and informative.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in wealth management and financial planning.
- Maintain organized records of client interactions and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work within proprietary tools to keep all client data up to date.
- Promote a sense of safety and security for clients, both online and in-person.
Skills
- Proactive, with a sense of initiative and propensity to leverage resources
- Basic knowledge of wills, trusts, estate law, and tax regulations.
- Experience in financial sales or related fields is a plus.
- Research skill and the ability to analyze financial data.
- Solid understanding of wealth management principles and practices.
- Curiosity coupled with strong critical thinking skills
- A strong focus on attention to detail
- Professional and effective communication skills to convey information clearly to clients and team members.
