We are actively seeking a candidate to fill a full-time Contract Specialist position for our Florida Keys Marine Construction Division based in Key Colony Beach, Florida.
The position requires coordination with the Project Manager, Operations Manager, Accounting team, customers, and suppliers.
Qualified candidates will be quick-learning, organized, disciplined, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individuals. The preferred candidate would also have strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
Duties:
- Support Project and Operations Managers
- Managing critical documents for building permits (Federal/state permits, applications, revisions, sign-ons, NOC’s, POO’s)
- Track client leads, quote requests, customer invoices
- Review and organize pre to post construction documentation
- Collecting material quotes
- Producing pay applications, change orders, submittals, and other construction documentation
- Managing customer, subcontractor, and vendor contracts
- Cost analysis reports
- Data and digital document filing
- Crew Payroll
Potential To:
- Assist in the estimating/bidding process
- Schedule material orders and deliveries
- Jobsite visits with potential and contracted customers
- Managing virtual assistants
- Calling inspections and surveys
- Assist with project coordination
Required Qualifications:
- Full time Florida Keys resident (or willing to relocate full time)
- Driver’s License and the ability to reliably commute
- Excellent communication skills
- Administrative experience
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in construction administration
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience in Quickbooks, Docusign, and BuilderTrend
- Florida Notary Public
