Description

L.P.T Retail Management Services, LLC is currently seeking friendly, enthusiastic individuals for Truck Tire Technician positions.

As a Auto Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for servicing our guests' vehicles and ensuring quality workmanship. Auto & Tire Technician duties include :

  • Check and communicate oil level to other Teammates
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
  • Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
  • Complete vehicle inspection
  • Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
  • Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
  • Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable
  • Take ownership of the sale, removal and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles
  • Assist customers with roadside services
  • Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends or holidays
  • While performing these duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons
  • Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration
  • While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc
  • You will have the chance to interact with drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better

Applicants will be responsible for, but not limited to :

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Complete all shift duties as assigned.
  • All employees are expected to safeguard the company's assets unless their own physical safety, or that of co-workers or customers, may be jeopardized.
  • Pay immediate attention to any spill or other hazardous condition.
  • As a Truck Tire Tech team member, you will work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for servicing our guests' vehicles and ensuring quality workmanship.

    While performing these duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Be mechanically inclined
  • Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Basic automotive knowledge
  • Must be able to operate equipment such as overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns, transmission machine, air conditioner service machine, radiator service machine, hand tools and basic office equipment
  • Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends or holidays
  • Have valid drivers license and carry current auto insurance
