We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Fulfillment Project Manager to join our company.
The Manufacturing Fulfillment Project Manager will lead, direct, and manage activities related to sales order entry, allocation, picking/packing, and/or shipping and fulfillment of Client orders.
Position Responsibilities
• Maintain active Open Order Report in ERP and Excel
• Communicate directly with customers on status, delays and delivery schedules
• Coordinate all internal process steps to meet daily, weekly, and monthly competition targets.
• Manage, coordinate, schedule and document status of all process steps after customer order has been received and entered.
• Actively participate in process improvement events
• Conduct customer interactions professionally at all times.
• Respond timely to sales and support team inquiries with shipment and order information for customer orders
• Identify our short-term and long-range shipping forecasts to support sales plans and goals.
• Coordinate any issues that arise between the shipping group and sales team to ensure timely delivery of our product to customers.
• Organize and implement shipment schedules with the logistics team to ensure on-time deliveries to our customers.
• Manage product allocations in accordance with customer requested ship dates and coordinate scheduled inventory levels using ERP softwar and other associated systems. Review agreement with sales, order entry personnel on viable ship dates.
• May participate in the processing of customer orders (Purchase Orders, Web Orders, Phone Orders, etc.) by way of regular, daily interface with inside and outside sales team members. Responsibilities include checking details of the address, order consistency with quotations, special shipping conditions, details of the address, order consistency with quotations, backorder release, prior to distributing shipping documents to shipping personnel.
• Manage information requests regarding the status of incoming orders and shipping date status.
• Oversee processes related to the accurate shipment of products to customers. Ensure all processes comply with shipping regulations.
• Know, understand, and comply with shipping carriers’ requirements for domestic and international shipments by way of DOT and IATA regulations.
• Oversee the preparation of Shipping documents and coordinate with carriers, customers, freight forwarders, and distributors. Periodically determine method of shipment and packing materials and methods as required for shipments.
• Manage information requests regarding the status of incoming orders and shipping date status.
• Frequently assess shipping methods, procedures, and practices; recommend changes and improvements.
• Identify nonconforming material and generate Non-Conforming Material Reports
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technical field or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a Manufacturing environment, with direct responsibilities for unit results and/or similar general office experience with emphasis on sales order management and fulfillment processes.
• Customer-facing experience is required. This role will involve the employee interacting with customers on a daily basis, having a direct impact on brand perception.
• Demonstrated proficiency with standard computer applications.
• Systems understanding of ERP, MRP, and Quality Control.
• Demonstrated analytical skills (General Analytics, Cost-Benefit Analysis, Risk Management, Distribution Management, Operations Planning and Control, etc.).
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
