What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Helper position at LPW Group?
Roles & Responsibilities:
Performs any combination of tasks required to ship and/or receive material. For this position, day-to-day responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:
- Mark parts for shipment (stamping, vibra tool, etc.)
- Visual inspection of parts while packing
- Properly pack parts for shipment
Desired Requirements
- Must be able to operate a forklift and lifting devices
- Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job
- Must work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to read and understand work orders, drawings, and other written instructions
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Experience with various software programs used in marking, stamping or dot matrix marking of metal parts for shipping is highly desired.
- Operate equipment as necessary.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs
