What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator, Fixed Assets position at LPX Group?
Purpose –
The Fixed Assets Coordinator will be responsible for managing administrative duties for the LPX Group Shop. This role will involve working closely with the VP and the Operations Manager to ensure that all files and records are up-to-date and organized. The Fixed Assets Coordinator will maintain accurate, correct information and ensure that all necessary data is readily available for efficient operations and decision making. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the team and ensuring smooth day-to-day functions of the shop.
Duties and Responsibilities –
§ Maintain and update the fuel log to ensure all orders are accurately charged to the correct job location and job number. The fuel log should be sent out monthly, ensuring all prices are correct in the report.
§ Process invoices related to shop services/repairs in a timely and accurate manner
§ Keep the equipment list (including Equipment List, Master Lease Schedule, and Maintenance Schedule) up to date by adding new vehicles and equipment, while removing any sold, lease-turned-in, or traded items
§ Run a Gasboy report and merge it with the WEX Fuel report. Provide Vice President, Fixed Assets with a summary of fuel usage, including total gallons, miles driven, and average MPG for each company to support IFTA tax filing
§ Handle all tasks related to the County Clerk’s Office, including but not limited to titles, plates, registration renewals, and the transfer of vehicles
§ Maintain the Riverlink account by ensuring all owned company vehicles are registered with Riverlink pass, helping avoid excess toll charges
§ Enter all new employees into both fuel systems (WEX and Gasboy). Issue access fobs for property access
§ Foster strong teamwork and collaboration with colleagues. Understand the importance of working together as a team to ensure smooth daily operations
§ Continuously look for ways to improve budget and revenue tracking. Present ideas to Vice President, Fixed Assets for review, ensuring any new approaches are in line with company goals
§ Perform all other tasks related to the daily operations of the LPX Group Fixed Asset Coordinator, as required by the company, with flexibility and proactive mindset
