Job Summary:
Focus Manufacturing Services is seeking a full-time Quality Inspector to join our team in Ogden, Utah. The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing inspections across all stages of the production process.
Responsibilities:
- Dimensionally inspect all parts using measuring devices to ensure they meet customer specifications
- Follow specifications of blueprints and general dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Analyze inspection data and manage non-conformances
- Complete required paperwork and checklists
- Perform work with a high degree of responsibility with an emphasis on safety and quality
- Read and understand blueprints, part drawings, internal process instructions and other technical data to perform visual and dimensional inspection activities
- Collaborates with all departments to ensure quality at the source and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in quality control in metal fabrication
- Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments
- Proficient in GD&T and the reading of drawings
- Strong mathematical and communication skills
- Ability to pay exceptional attention to detail and have the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience inspecting and processing paperwork for AS9100D is preferred
- Experience with AWS is preferred
- Experience operating a CMM is preferred
