Job Summary :
The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the front desk operations during the night shift and performing accounting duties related to the hotel’s daily revenue and financial transactions. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. The Night Auditor ensures a smooth transition between shifts and maintains accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities :
Front Desk Operations :
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift, providing exceptional service and addressing any guest inquiries or concerns.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and messages from guests, ensuring all communications are handled promptly and professionally.
Financial Auditing :
Perform nightly audit procedures, reconciling daily transactions, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
Cash Handling :
Maintain and balance the cash drawer, processing payments and refunds as needed.
Security and Safety :
Monitor the hotel premises for security and safety issues, reporting any concerns to management or local authorities as necessary.
Communication and Coordination :
Collaborate with other departments to relay important information regarding guest needs and hotel operations.
