Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent, reliable, and professional Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and premises. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of buildings and grounds to ensure the safety of all personnel and property.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any security or safety-related incidents.
- Ensure that all security equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.
- Operate surveillance equipment and monitor cameras to detect suspicious activities.
- Enforce security regulations and maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports of incidents, accidents, or irregularities.
- Provide assistance to emergency responders and cooperate with law enforcement when necessary.
- Perform routine checks on doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are securely closed.
- Escort individuals as needed for their safety or during high-risk situations.
- Handle and resolve disturbances or conflicts calmly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security-related certifications or training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a security officer or in a related field.
