Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and performing daily accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial transactions. This position will work closely with the Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant to support the overall accounting functions and contribute to the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities : 1. General Ledger Maintenance & Financial Record Keeping :
- Journal Entries : Prepare and post daily, monthly, and year-end journal entries, ensuring proper classification and accurate reporting of financial transactions.
- Account Adjustments : Identify and make necessary adjustments to accounts, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
- Account Reconciliation : Perform monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts (bank, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.), ensuring that discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.

Qualifications : Required :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of accounting experience, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy in financial documentation and reconciliations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Preferred :
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or working towards obtaining the CPA designation is a plus.
Experience in accounting within a corporate environment, ideally with a background in [specific industry].
Physical Requirements :
Sitting / Standing :
The position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasional standing and walking are required to attend meetings or perform tasks around the office.
Lifting / Carrying :
Occasional lifting or carrying of office supplies and files, generally up to 25 pounds. Ability to transport small files or documents between departments or to meetings.
