About the Job
At Lraough LLC's client, a remote-work-friendly IT company, we are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team. This role involves collaborating with customers across various stages of their development lifecycle and utilizing presentations, email, phone, and social media to connect with them.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the sales team in educating prospects and partners on the capabilities of our platform.
- Understand business requirements and effectively communicate the value of leveraging cloud technology to solve business problems.
- Develop and deliver proofs of concept (POCs) to prospects or customers with complex use cases, working closely with other sales engineering and system consulting team members as needed.
- Evaluate the scope of work for custom pricing estimates.
- Create detailed specification documents to pass implementation details on to the system consulting team.
- Produce content showcasing how partners can implement specific requirements or best practices for building and deploying applications and solutions on our platform.
- Clearly distill and communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in front-end web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
- Business-level Japanese language proficiency.
Bonus Skills:
- Backend programming experience (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.).
- Experience with APIs (particularly RESTful API).
- Database experience (MySQL, SQL Server).
