What are the responsibilities and job description for the LRCHC Maintenance Housekeeping position at LRCHC?

We are currently offering a part-time position in our facilities department. The position will be responsible for assisting with general cleaning of our Inchelium facility. The person that will be hired will have these distinguishing career features:

- Ability to quickly learn the facilities and equipment to be maintained.
- Ability to provide general cleaning of the building(s) and maintenance as needed.
- Understanding and ability to assist with security for the building and staff.
- General knowledge of tools required to perform duties and knowledge of how to maintain and store all tools.
- Ability to provide general cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
- Yard work that includes mowing, watering, weeding, garbage pickup, and snow removal.
- Ability to understand and practice confidentiality in all that you do.
- Above average attendance.
- Ability to work independently, be detail oriented, organized and work under pressure.
- Must understand the importance of deadlines and adhere to those deadlines.
- Use initiative and independent judgement in performance and work with a minimum of supervision.
- Safe and complete clean-up of spills, including those that may be hazardous.
- Able to conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, gardening tools, and basic automotive skills.
- Skilled in the use of cleaning tools such as industrial vacuums, cleaning solutions, all other items used to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Must follow all safety, infection control and personal protective equipment requirements.
This position is currently part-time (24 32 hours per week) and on-call.
Education, Licenses, Certification and Experience
High School Diploma / GED
A valid Washington State driver's license is required and must be eligible for the Colville Tribes vehicle insurance and maintained throughout employment.
Basic Life Support, HIPAA and Privacy Act training certification is required within 90 days of hire.
A background check will be required with clearance maintained throughout employment.
Tribal member and Indian and veteran preference will apply.
Working Conditions
LRCHC has ADA compliant facilities. May require lifting of 15 70 lbs. Requires the ability to bend, stop, crouch, twist, and reach on a regular basis. Requires sufficient hand-eye-arm coordination utilized to operate a variety of maintenance, medical, dental and general office equipment. Ability to read words and numbers.
