We are seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. This position requires 40 hours of work per week, with an 8-hour shift and evening schedule.
Job Description
- Provide high-quality imaging services to patients using computed tomography (CT) scanners.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and alignment for optimal image quality.
- Administer contrast media as required by the procedure, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control standards and policies.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Instructions
- Must have current CT certification and be able to provide documentation upon request.
- Ability to lift or move patients as needed, up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
