Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Lakewood, Colorado. As a key member of the cath lab team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Operate complex imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound systems.
- Assist physicians with procedures, maintaining sterile technique and handling medications as needed.
- Prepare patients for procedures, obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth procedure execution and patient safety.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Certified Cath Lab Specialist (CCLS).
- At least two years of experience in a cath lab setting, preferably in an acute care hospital.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
