The position of a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery is available at a healthcare facility in Gillette, Wyoming. This role requires the nurse to work in the labor and delivery department, providing care to patients undergoing childbirth or experiencing complications during pregnancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the labor and delivery department
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to changes in maternal or fetal status
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during the childbirth process
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Wyoming
- Experience working in labor and delivery or a related field
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts for 36 hours per week
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
