Door Assembler

DOOR ASSEMBLER – EAST PEORIA, ILLINOIS

Our door assembly team is an integral part of us delivering the quality exterior door product our customers have come to expect.

JOB DUTIES:

• Cutting, screwing, stapling, nailing, gluing, caulking, and assembling of wood, metal and glass materials into door and sidelight glass door units
• Perform regular inspects, routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Receiving and stocking inbound materials
• Load company and customer vehicles with outbound materials
• Maintain a clean and orderly material storage and production space

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to safely and properly use power tools including pneumatic nail gun, miter saw, table saw, radial arm saw and router
• Able to read and write
• Problem solving skills
• Forklift Experience (Preferred – will train)
• Able to lift, pull, push, stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Available to work overtime as needed

JOB TYPE: Full-time

RATE OF PAY: Paid weekly, starting at $ 15/hr – based on skills and experience. Daily OT after 8 hours.

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 7:30 – 4:30

EDUCATION: High school or equivalent

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
