At LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech company, we're on the lookout for a dynamic Acquisition Specialist to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in revolutionizing the National Airspace System (NAS).
Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting all aspects of program / project management involving planning, developing, organizing, coordinating and conducting ATO organizational activities to ensure FAA operational policies, processes and program elements are integrated and documented. This support includes any and all program management related tasks and deliverables. Exceptional oral and written communication, organizational, critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions skills are essential. Additionally,
- Performing market research and analysis required for new or extending existing contracts requiring a single source justification
- Developing schedules for program management activities, e.g., CFO packages, contract development, evaluation, and award
- Developing requests for proposals (RFPs) using the Uniform Contract Format (Sections C-K) for traditional or performance-based contracts
- Developing CFO packages for approval (required prior to the FAA sending out a Screening Information Request (SIR))
- Developing briefing packages for the Acquisition Strategy Review Board (ASRB)
- Developing Evaluation Plans and serving as a member of an Evaluation Team, as required
- Developing Corrective Action Plans, as needed
- Developing or providing comments on program-required documentation, e.g., Implementation Strategy and Planning Documents (ISPD), Communication Plans, and Program Management Plans (PMP)
- Provide acquisition advice on various contractual matters

Compensation (Pay Bands)
Salary at LST is determined by a wide array of factors, such as (but not limited to) education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time, 40 hour / week status. Part-time staff receive compensation at an hourly rate. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of LSTs total compensation package for employees.
