Job Description:
LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scheduler to support a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) program. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with deep expertise in Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and management, schedule integration, and risk management. The Senior Scheduler will work closely with program leadership, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless schedule execution and alignment with program objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and manage complex, resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in alignment with FAA program requirements.
- Establish and manage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to ensure accurate scope definition and integration with program planning.
- Ensure schedule adherence to program milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Analyze dependencies, constraints, and critical paths, recommending mitigations to maintain project schedules.
- Lead schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with program managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with program objectives.
- Prepare and present schedule performance reports, dashboards, and forecasting models to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and contract teams to ensure accurate resource and budget alignment with the project schedule.
- Support FAA reporting and compliance requirements, ensuring schedule integration meets federal standards and guidelines.
- Utilize Microsoft Project and other industry-standard scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Open Plan to develop and manage schedules.
- Ensure alignment with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) lifecycle and acquisition programs.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior schedulers and project staff.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 10 years of experience in project scheduling, with at least 5 years supporting FAA, government, or large-scale aerospace programs.
- Expertise in Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, with additional experience in Primavera P6 and Open Plan.
- Knowledge of FAA processes, regulations, and project lifecycle requirements is highly desirable.
- Experience with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) lifecycle and acquisition programs.
- Experience with schedule risk analysis and critical path methodology.
- Ability to work in a highly integrated team environment, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in developing dashboards and reports for executive leadership.
Preferred:
- PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent scheduling certification is a plus

Compensation (Pay Bands)
Salary at LST is determined by a wide array of factors, such as (but not limited to) education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time, 40-hour/week status. Part-time staff receive compensation at an hourly rate. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represent the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and are just one component of LST's total compensation package for employees. In compliance with local laws, LS Technologies presents this reasonable compensation range as a guideline for roles in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington D.C.
