Job Description
LS Technologies, LLC is currently seeking a System Administrator to provide support for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The System Administrator will work as part of a dynamic team to keep systems maintained and optimized through daily, weekly, and monthly patching, upgrades, and tuning when system maintenance is required and perform day-to-day operations and interface with government customers.
Responsibilities
- System Administration & Maintenance :
Manage, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022.
Administer Active Directory (AD), including user / group creation, group policies, permissions, and directory services.
Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
Implement and enforce security best practices for the Windows server environment.
Ensure the configuration and troubleshooting of networking components like switches, routers, and VPNs.
Use monitoring tools (e.g., OpenText Operations Bridge, System Center Operations Manager, etc.) to monitor system health and performance.
Provide technical support for Windows-based systems, ensuring timely resolution of system issues.
Collaborate with other IT teams to plan and implement infrastructure projects.

Compensation (Pay Bands)
Salary at LST is determined by a wide array of factors, such as (but not limited to) education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time, 40 hour / week status. Part-time staff receive compensation at an hourly rate. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of LSTs total compensation package for employees.
