Housekeeper

Job Description:

We are a residential multifamily organization managing apartment buildings, and we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will primarily be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our property, The Retreat and Community Center. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the property, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and community spaces.
• Clean and prepare vacant units for new residents, ensuring they meet our high standards of cleanliness.
• Handle miscellaneous cleaning tasks as assigned, which may include light maintenance duties.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used and stored properly.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the property management team.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
