What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative and Data Clerk position at LSG Management?
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the TAP (Transition Assistance Program) at M&FR, including data entry, office management, and maintaining records.
- Answer phone, email, and in-person inquiries from service members and staff regarding TAP progress and requirements.
- Data Entry:
- Input, maintain, and track data in TAP-related systems such as Air Force Family Integrated Reporting, DoDTAP, and TAPEvents.org.
- Ensure data quality by reviewing and validating staff entries and correcting errors.
- Customer Service:
- Act as a point of contact for service members, providing information on TAP briefings, including Pre-Separation, 3-day Core Curriculum, and additional sessions.
- Maintain professional communication with installation leadership, community partners, and other stakeholders.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare reports, research processes, and collect data from various sources for submission to government authorities.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation of all interactions and activities.
- Technical Skills:
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and be comfortable using office equipment and software.
- Compliance and Confidentiality:
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and adhere to privacy guidelines, including HIPAA and Privacy Act training requirements.
- Comply with government regulations, security requirements, and complete orientation and annual training programs.
- Inventory and Maintenance:
- Maintain inventory of program materials, resources, and marketing items.
- Record attendance and registration for all TAP workshops.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Associate's degree or 3 years of experience in a military/government environment. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum one year of clerical or data entry experience in an office setting, with experience in TAP preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills, professional telephone etiquette, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn government systems.
Work Schedule:
- Normal working hours: Monday through Friday, 0730-1600 (excluding federal holidays)
