What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packer position at LSG Sky Chefs USA, Inc.?
Brief Description of Duties:
•Maintain Sanitation standards per policy, and USDA/FDA/HAACP Regulations.
•Review and maintain safety and health training standards, and government regulations.
•Pack liquor and equipment in designated cart per client specifications, and handle final pack and check of all equipment into carts.
•Maintains proper temperatures of all food products
•Ensures all food products are properly labeled, dated, and rotated (FIFO)
•Assumes other related duties as required
Required Abilities:
•Must be able to work around moving parts & wet floors
•Must be able to work in cold environment with a constant 38-40 degree temperature for up to 8 hours a day with appropriate insulated clothing
•Must be able to stand on a daily basis for 8 hours a day
•Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
•Must apply effective Food Hygiene practices
•Must have ability to apply safety and sanitation standards
•Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
•Must be able to walk/stoop/bend/stand for entire work shift
•Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
•Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment ( nights, weekends, holidays)
•Must have ability to use knives, cutting board, mobile shelving, carts, meat slicer, and related industrial kitchen equipment

Education and Experience:
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Must be in current position for 60 days. Good attendance record
•Must have excellent communications skills, both written and oral
•Must have ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure
•Must be a team player
