JOB OVERVIEWThe Customer Service Associate (Driver) is responsible for catering aircraft and transporting meals / beverage / equipment to assign flights. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather all necessary equipment for assigned flights.
- Verify flights documentation to ensure correct items are loaded before heading to ramp.
- Interact with other Customer Service team members to identify and resolve problems.
- Interface with flight attendants and provide excellent customer service.
- Comply with all operating and safety procedures regarding driving, positioning the unit at the planes, securing the work platform, loading and unloading carts on and off the planes.
- Dispose of domestic and international trash based on CBP regulated guidelines.
- Must have the ability to follow direction, meet tight deadlines, and interact / communicate with vendor airline crew as necessary.REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a Commercial Drivers License (Class A or B)
- Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays.
- Work overtime when required.
- Ability to speak, read and understand English.
- Comply with all work rules and regulations.
- Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Able to pass a basic written test.
- Ability to handle dry ice
- Pass a DOT Pre-Employment Physical test.
- Pass a criminal background and an airport / TSA background check.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required. ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift of 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift and push up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to use fingers / hands to handle equipment
- Will be exposed to various temperature changes (hot and cold) and noise.
- This position requires to be active, walking, and intense physical activity.
- Will be exposed to various weather condition and heights.
