What are the responsibilities and job description for the MCO - Orlando,FL - MCO - Facility Runner position at LSG Sky Chefs?
DESCRIPTION OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Ensure carts being transported to the warehouse are cleaned and free of all inbound food, garbage, and other debris.
- Inspect all inbound equipment related to Assembly—specifically for Delta, Spirit, Frontier, and Alaska—to ensure removal of open soda cans, ice, water in bins, and any open or used snacks before transporting carts and carriers to the Assembly area.
- Ensure timely delivery of equipment to the warehouse (packing area).
- Maintain production areas in compliance with sanitation standards set by LSG Sky Chefs, FDA, and USDA.
- Adhere to safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and all other company and customer rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand for entire work shift
- Must have the ability to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift up-to 30lbs
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Must have good organizational skills and adapt to frequent changes
- Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
- Must be able to work around moving parts & wet floors
- Must be flexible and can react to changing priorities
- Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays subject to change due to shift bidding
