Main Accountabilities
Supporting Operational Business:
- Assist in preparing operations data analysis, reports, and summaries that help management optimize facility operations for greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Aid in the development and maintenance of food manufacturing production schedules to ensure smooth and continuous production flow.
- Support the distribution and usage of scheduling reports and dispatch lists to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining goal performance reporting and analysis, ensuring data is up-to-date and accurate.
- Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, and other departments to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and audit the scheduling system to ensure quality, efficiency, and a smooth flow of work.
Operational Support & Documentation:
- Assist in the maintenance of departmental policies and procedures to ensure smooth operation.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and clear communication of daily operational information.
- Maintain organized documentation of planning activities.
- Assist in organizing and ensuring the proper staffing and direction of the planning team.
- Continuously monitor production data for real time changes and communicate changes to relevant teams as necessary
- Perform other duties as necessary to support the efficient and effective performance of the Planning Department.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 years of administrative experience
- Knowledge of airline specific database systems preferred (i.e. LINK, CBASE, ACE)
- Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent time management skills with ability to use independent judgment effectively
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail in a high stress environment
- Verbal/written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
