About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining our Global Quality System to ensure compliance with customer, FDA, USDA, and HACCP plans.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and initiate all recordkeeping and key performance indicators pertinent to the Quality Department and GQS.
- Daily monitor of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for compliance.
- Verify coolers and freezer room temperature for compliance.
- Perform environmental swabs and microbiological sampling, submission to local laboratory for analysis.
Your Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, a plus.
- Proficient in using computer and basic software.
- Previous food industry and quality assurance experience a plus.
