Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Remanufacturing Technician to join our team in the remanufacturing of train parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. You will play a critical role in ensuring that train components are restored to meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and remanufacture various train parts, including engines, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Perform precision measurements and utilize various tools and equipment to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the remanufacturing process.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay current with industry standards and technologies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in mechanical repair or remanufacturing, preferably in the railway or automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
