Printing Machine Operator
1st shift
Mon-Fri
The primary function of this position is to inspect rolls of printed products to ensure
customer specifications and quality standards are met. This role includes maintaining production per job schedules and monitoring quality of finished product.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Sets up rewind machine to finish a variety of roll label products.
• Inspects labels for visual imperfections and removes the defective labels based on standard procedures.
• Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
• Follows standard safety procedures.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
• experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities.
• Possess a keen attention to detail.
• Must be able to read and use a ruler.
• Must be able to do general math; addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
• Experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment preferred.
• Communicate with team members and be a team player.
• Ability to stay focused and follow instructions.
• Enjoy routine, repetitious work.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit constantly, excellent hand-eye coordination skills, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to lift and load weights up to 50 lbs.
• Able to use hands and fingers for fine manipulation.
• Ability to frequently bend, squat, reach, grip, and grasp.
• Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
