MATERIAL HANDLER
Pay-17 Hourly
As a Manufacturing Forklift Operator / Material Handler , you will be loading, unloading, moving, and tracking raw materials and / or finished goods in compliance with Safety Programs and Quality Assurance Systems to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities :
- Organizes, secures, and moves products and materials by way of operating equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Unloads products and materials from trailers and stores them in an organized fashion in the proper areas of the warehouse / plant
- Loads finished goods into trailers according to proper standards, procedures, and customer order directions
- Ensures proper procedures and processes
- Moves products carefully to avoid damage
- Inspects and documents quality and quantity of materials received and shipped
- Responsible for Bill of Lading
- Properly maintains and operates equipment
- Strictly adheres to safety guidelines
- Occasionally subjected to working overtime as required
