As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and driven Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join our team on a self-employed basis. Role Overview

As a Remote Mortgage & Protection Adviser, you will be responsible for providing expert mortgage and protection advice to clients across the UK. You will work closely with clients to assess their financial needs, source suitable mortgage products, and recommend protection solutions to safeguard their future.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional mortgage and protection advice tailored to clients’ needs.
• Conduct thorough fact-finding discussions to assess clients’ financial situations and goals.
• Source suitable mortgage products from a comprehensive panel of lenders.
• Recommend appropriate protection policies, including life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection.
• Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and company standards.
• Develop and nurture strong client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
• Stay updated with industry changes, lender criteria, and market trends.

Requirements

• CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) qualification (or equivalent) – Essential.
• Proven experience in mortgage and protection advice.
• A strong understanding of the UK mortgage market and lender criteria.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining a high standard of service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in technology, with experience using mortgage sourcing and CRM systems.
• Ability to generate and convert leads, with a proactive approach to business development.
• Commitment to ethical advice and treating clients fairly.
