Job Opportunity: Summer@LSMSA Camp Counselors – June 2025
The successful applicants will lead afternoon and evening programming while engaging campers in meaningful
ways. Responsibilities include serving as the first point of contact for campers, supervising campers in the
evenings and at mealtimes, and responding quickly to help address problems or concerns.
Housing in our residence hall and a meal plan will be provided. All applicants must pass a background check
and drug screen. This is a temporary position from May 26 – June 21, 2025.
Required qualifications:
• High School diploma plus completion of a minimum of one year of college
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a camp counselor or in a leadership capacity with children and/or
- Drivers license

About Summer@LSMSA Camp
Summer @LSMSA gives students entering grades 7, 8, and 9 the opportunity to experience life at LSMSA for
one week. Campers spend their days learning in a fun, hands-on atmosphere: there are no grades or tests in
any courses – just the academic experiences! In the evenings, campers have a variety of activities to choose
from that are organized and monitored by Summer@LSMSA camp counselors. There are 3 sessions of
