We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, with expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, and API Management. Experience with FedRAMP compliance is a plus.
Onsite: Farmington Hills, MI
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available systems on Azure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Kubernetes Management: Implement and oversee Kubernetes clusters on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to ensure seamless container orchestration and application deployment.
- API Management: Develop and maintain API gateways using Azure API Management, prioritizing security, analytics, and developer engagement.
- Network Management: Configure and manage Azure network resources to ensure security and connectivity across environments.
- Performance & Cost Optimization: Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to maintain optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, including IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless services. 5 years of experience
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and container orchestration.
- Experience with Azure API Management for designing and managing APIs.
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Higher degrees or equivalent experience are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) or Terraform Associate certification.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with FedRAMP compliance standards.
