We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Security Engineer to join our team, focusing on Azure Gov Cloud, FedRAMP compliance, Terraform, CrowdStrike and Datadog. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud solutions that meet the highest standards of security and compliance. This role requires a strong background in cloud security, experience with Azure technologies, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implement Secure Solutions: Develop and deploy secure Azure cloud architectures that adhere to FedRAMP compliance requirements, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform to automate the deployment and management of Azure resources, ensuring consistency and efficiency across environments.
- Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Configure and manage CrowdStrike, Tenable Nessus, and Burp Suite for real-time security monitoring, alerting, and incident response automation.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all phases of project development, providing technical leadership and guidance on security and compliance matters.
- Stay Current with Industry Trends: Continuously update knowledge on the latest Azure features, security threats, and compliance requirements to enhance our security posture.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure technologies, particularly Azure Gov Cloud.
- Strong background in cloud security with a focus on FedRAMP compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with CrowdStrike, Tenable Nessus, and Burp Suite for security monitoring and incident response.
- Excellent understanding of cloud security principles, including encryption, network security, and vulnerability management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or CISSP.
- Proficiency with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and identity management principles.
