LAC Federal is seeking a Reference Librarian to work for a prestigious federal library in the Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, North Carolina area. The Librarian will provide high-quality reference and instruction services including literature searching, development of training material, library resources use instruction, research methodologies, and support of bibliometric research. This is a full-time, hybrid position with benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for the library portion of the weekly report
- Conducts literature searches and organizes results in EndNote
- Creates Endnote libraries for use for peer review process
- Prepares bibliometric reports and visualizations
- Conducts weekly and monthly research alerts
- Provides additional reference services
- Develops classes and training materials
- Teaches group and one-on-one training classes
- Assists with marketing of the library and other special projects.
