The School of Allied Health Professions at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans (LSUHSC-NO) seeks applications from qualified candidates for a full time, 12-month clinical position, to serve as a clinician in the Department of Counseling’s Child & Family Counseling Clinic.
LSUHSC-NO invites applications for a master’s level (or higher-level degree), Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) in the Department of Counseling’s CACREP accredited program’s on-site counseling clinic. The successful candidate will maintain an active clinical caseload in the Counseling Department’s Child and Family Counseling Clinic (CFCC) and provide services to children ages 2-12 years old. Candidate must have clinical training and preparation as a registered play therapist and a history of providing clinical services to children under the age of 12 years.
